THOA, Inc. Standing Committees

 
Budget:  Plan a working budget for the upcoming year for THOA, Inc.  The Vice President will serve as chairperson and two area directors will serve as members.

Membership/Marketing: Promote THOA, Inc. to new and prospective members.  Select items for membership incentives to be given at the annual Professional Development Conference.  An area director will serve as chairperson.  Members will consist of one person from each area not represented by the chairperson.

Nominating: Secure a full slate of officers to be elected for the THOA Board of Directors (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer-Elect and Reporter).  The past president will serve as chairperson along with 2 other THOA, Inc. members.

Scholarship:  Update scholarship application forms annually and select scholarship recipients during summer Professional Development Conference.  Chairperson to present scholarship recipients at THOA, Inc. luncheon during summer PDC.

Fundraiser: Advertise and recruit items for the fundraiser to be held at the annual Professional Development Conference.  Organize and setup the fundraiser. An area director will serve as chairperson.  Members will consist of one person from each area not represented by the chairperson.

Social:  Setup social activities for all participants at the annual Professional Development Conference during non-meeting times.  An area director will serve as chairperson.  Members will consist of those who are geographically located near the next PDC.
