Criteria for Outstanding Service Award


Purpose: To recognize educators who have made the highest meritorious contributions to the improvement, promotion, development and progress of vocational-technical education.

Criteria: The award will be presented to individuals who have made contributions or achieved prominence above salaried position assignments at the local, state, regional and national levels. Nominees who have received recognition outside of their field of work and those who have made contributions of national significance will be most highly rated. Nominees must be active members of ACTE.

Eligibility:

Each state organization may nominate one Outstanding Service Award. If there is more than one nominee there will be an interview process set up by the President-Elect.

The THOA President-Elect will be the contact person for obtaining the current application.

All materials required by the application will be due at the ACTE headquarters by mid September.
